First, happy 2009!!
I've created this blog to help all of us work toward spiritual, emotional, and physical health. Also, this gives me public accountability for the choices I make in my life. My first commitment is to tell you the truth - about what I'm eating, how much I'm exercising, and how much attention I'm paying to my spiritual life. This is not an attempt to get perfect - I just want to be a better Lillie Love.
I'm hoping that you will join me in this online (ad)venture. I need your help. I need your honesty. I need your love. I need you to let me help you as well.
What will all this look like? I dunno. Let's just run on and see what the end is gonna be.

I'm a virgin blogger and in the process of trying to figure out how to do this I have spent the better part of an hour erasing my response FOUR times! Each time I thought I knew what not to do - but au contraire! I hope five is the charm. If anyone else is a virgin - blogger that is, click on the "follow" link first to set up an account - if you don't have one already. When I clicked on it, I found that I had already set up a google account sometime in this lifetime. Now I need to find out how to edit it and how to upload a picture.

My first commitment is to find AND participate in a Yoga class in an effort to align my mind/body/spirit. I'm fired up and ready to go (I think).

Oya - I have not met you before, but I go to a wonderful yoga place off of Roswell Rd - Spring Yoga. If this is at all convenient for you, I'd love to join you for a class. First, I must apologize for the delay in responding, but remember I'm new at this. It shocked the b'geebeez out of me when I scrolled down my Outlook folder list and saw two LoveCommaLillie folders under RSS Feeds. I am still trying to understand what RSS Feeds are and how they get in my inbox. Is this like a Big Brother thing???
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have done nothing, Nada, to find a yoga class. Strike that, I did look at my VHS tapes to see if I had bought one in the past but all I found were SEVERAL Tai Chi VHS tapes that have not been opened.
Hi Marge. You do know Oya, only you know her as Toni. Oya is the name of a Yoruba goddess with whom I have a lot in common; and Oya is the name that I obviously used as my screen name when I first set up my google account over a year ago that I don't remember setting up. I would love to take a Yoga class with youi and hopefully that will happen in the future, but Roswell Road is not convenient for me on a regular basis. I will be more diligent, though, 'cause Mz. Lillie is making me look mighty bad.

Okay, you must be talking blog talk. Does "follow" mean "view article?" On second thought I think follow means when I figure out how to post a comment. Anyway, yesterday I googled around to find the number for parks and rec center near me that I think teaches Yoga. When I called to ask for their web address, I was informed they don't have one. However, i was told that they are open until 9 so tonight, I plan to go there and get a schedule. Whew. I should have lost about 2 pounds just gathering information...
